Hunger Action Month

September is Hunger Action Month, a nationwide focus on hunger awareness. You can take action by walking alongside a family and providing nourishing food and hope!

During this month-long campaign we are looking for donors who will commit to a monthly donation for 6 months. In this way you can walk alongside a family that is struggling. Six months of weekly food deliveries will give them the chance to get back on their feet and become independent again.

You may not be able to give a lot, but we can do a lot with a little! Just $19 provides a family with a week of groceries. How much did you spend on groceries last week? For $75 you can feed a household for 1 month. And a gift of $93 will deliver food weekly to 5 families. Help us ensure that no family has to face hunger alone.

Each week Servant’s Heart Ministry delivers hundreds of boxes of food to those experiencing food insecurity. We depend on the generous donations of those who share our passion to serve others.

Participants receive food weekly, including non-perishable staples, fresh produce, bakery items, meat, eggs and dairy products. It’s all delivered with a smile by a caring Community Partner. What a gift for someone who would otherwise go hungry! You can help us make a difference.

We might be small, but we do big things for our community without a lot of costs. Your gifts make a huge impact on our efforts. Your contribution results in nourished children who can concentrate on their academics, relieved adults who can focus on seeking employment and seniors who can make ends meet on their fixed incomes.
